This week, we had a lesson on Digital Citizenship. Here is a video from Dev on internet safety.
Today, we were really lucky to have a workshop with the author John Coy. He gave you some really good advice on the writing process. I couldn't believe that one of his books took SIX YEARS from start to finish. It took such a long time for a number of reasons:
Yesterday, Mr John & Miss Klara met with you to discuss your responsibilities as a digital citizen. One of the things that they shared with you, that I really like, is the idea that you THINK before you send an email.
Today, Miss Pearl spoke to you about colour poems and tomorrow you will have the opportunity to write some of your own. Here are some poems to (hopefully) inspire you.
I was a little bit off the pace last week and didn't actually set you any homework (lucky you). This week, I would like you to:
1 - Add your thoughts for Georgie's precept (Some of you have already done this). Due Friday. 2 - Your dinner time question this week is "What was the best vacation you ever had? Or the best you can imagine?" Due Friday. 3 - Prepare for your role in our lit circles. Due Thursday. |
