#2. 1 block because you take away the sides and the top from case 1 and you have 1 block.
2. Case 0 would be 1 block because every time you add the blocks you add an odd number that odd number starts as 1 (-1 would be 0 ) then you add the second odd number this is the pattern you add 1-3-5-7-9 as you can see they are all odd numbers
Case 100 would have 400 blocks because case 1 has 4 and you if you multiply 4 by 100 would be 400
2# case zero would have 2 blocks because case 1 has three base block case 2 would have 4base blocks so the rule for plus 1 case would be plus 1 base block so then to go backwards it would be the opposite which is -1 and that would mean 2 blocks because you can't add any blocks on top!!
Actually case one doesn't have three blocks it has 4. A formula I came up with is 2n! + (n+1) which answers number 3.
These are the awnsers I got...
Case 100 :
Why:The reason the awnser would be 200 is becuase you need to times each case twice.
...............And so on
BLOCKS FOR question 1= 400 because in cace 1 =4 blocks we need to figure out 100 case so we did 4x100 so we got 400!
It looks to me like there is a link between the case No and the number of blocks in the middle (tallest) column; the relationship being that number of blocks = case number + 1.
The next relationship is the number of blocks in any case number = number of blocks in the tallest column squared.
So I would say number of total blocks in any case (n) is:
n = (case number + 1) squared
So case 100 = (100 + 1) squared
101 squared = 10201 blocks.
