I found this online and thought how perfect it would have been for our last unit of inquiry. I tried playing it but kind of got confused.
Can you figure out how it works and if you think it would be a good resource for the Grade 4s to use next year? Today, as part of your maths lesson you were asked to organise some 3D shapes. It was interesting to hear some of the vocabulary you already know - sides, vertices, faces, prisms, hexagonal, cylinder, sphere, pyramid. When you travel somewhere by airplane you are allowed to take hand luggage with you. However, your hand luggage usually has a weight restriction of around 10kg. Think about the next flight you will take. What are you going to take in your hand luggage? Approximately how heavy is each item? What do you think your hand luggage will weigh?
