It's great to see children hanging out reading at lunch times. Don't forget Friday's "READ IN."9/9/2015 We have been gathering our own data about migration. We surveyed people who have moved to Dar Es Salaam and collected our data onto google sheets. We then used a website called Easlel.ly to create our own infographs. We used these to try and interpret our data.
Avery's dad came into school today to speak with us about migration and urbanisation. He is a town planner who works with the Tanzanian government.
1. Keep up with your reading and check out at least 2 books from the library.
2. Teach somebody at home how to play dicey addition. Make the game as tricky as you like (2 digit, 3 digit, mixed digit, decimals) 3. Discuss your genius hour project with your parents. Explain to them what you are going to do and what you hope to achieve. |
