Think it means that you need to be balanced. if you play then your reward is playing. Don't only work. Work on stuff for five hours. But not play. The same for playing. Or the computer. Don't go on for five hours. Work harder to reach your full potential to make your learning better.

In my opinion "Work Hard Play Hard" means that you have to be balanced. I think there are 2 meanings to this quote/saying. Meaning no.1 is that practice well get better. Meaning no.2 is that study well play better. Let's take an example of math and basketball. If you find out how many degrees from a certain dictance then you can make a basket.

I think this precept means that You have to balance your time between work and play. If you work all the time you won't get to relaxe but if you play all the time you won't have any responsibility. Even if you have a really busy job and barely any free time you should still find a way to have fun. When you have a nice vacation try to find something to do. Working hard doesn't always mean a job it could mean taking responsibility such as:

I think " work hard" means to do your best and never give up no matter what, even if it's your hardest subject or sport you have to work hard on it.

I think it means that if you play hard than you have to work hard. For example if you play hard in volleyball you need to have worked hard unless you are the best person in the world at football but still he/she has to have worked or practiced. I also think it means that it means that if you work hard all day you will have time to play hard for part of the day.

In my opinion the precept (Work hard play hard) means that you can play all you want but if you want to play you need to work see it's just how you look at it if you stress about work its most likely that you won't like playing maybe you don't like playing but it's always good to have a vitiate

my thought of this precept is when you want to do something the best you can listen to this comment for example your playing football and the ball comes to you you have to try your best and if someone's punching you on the floor on purpose smile and him and then tackle so you show him a lesson play hard sounds like you should be mean but you should do it for a proper reason so if there doing something on purpose to you, you show them a lesson so they realize what they did wrong and when you play hard make sure you have fun
