this precept means whatever you get you got to appreciate it
EG: I had 10 toys I don't go asking for more I only be satisfied
I don't understand this precept that much.I don't have an answer!!!
WHEN LIFE GIVES YOU LEMONS, MAKE LEMONADE
I think this precept means if life gives you something or if anyone gave you something you expected like " not winning a trophy " and you wanted to win a trophy but that doesn't matter because you can make something out of it. ( the event you didn't win )
You could probably make a new skill in the event, that could mean more to having a trophy to you. You could even be in a book were thousands of people read it. So when life gives you lemons, *MAKE* lemonade
I think this means if life gives you lemons make lemonade. As in like make the most of a good time in life that is the lemon. The lemonade is something even better because you are getting something good or bad out of it.
THE MOSHI TRIP
We did not win a trophie or a medal. That is our lemonade our lemon was an exciting trip to moshi and a one time flying by myself that was a big lemon .
# My lemonade didn't turn out great. but still fun/tasty.
If life gives you lemonade use it wisely.
I think this precept means that if you get something useful use it wisely and and don't just waste it.
e.g: let's say someone gave you and your friend 10 flower seeds each, your friend waited until he/she turned 25 years old to plant them, but when he/she turned 25 the flower seeds were dry and they didn't grow when they were planted.
Well you had chosen to plant them right away so they didn't turn dry and old. So you planted them in your front yard and after some time they began to grow into beautiful flowers.
See there's someone who was being wise,
Well now your friend has gotten jealous, but you just tell him/her:
"If you had been wise enough to plant the flower seeds right away, you would have beautiful flowers in your front yard too!"
So that's what I think this precept means!
When life gives you a lemon make lemonade.
I think this precept means that if you get something good then make goodness out of it.
e.g It's your Birthday you get a lot of money you could keep it and waste it on Candy or you could go and by someone a gift who's Birthday it is.
e.g When it was Christmas time I went out to the Super Market with my Grandad and spent lots of my Birthday/Christmas Money on gifts for him and other members of my family.
For the first example the lemon is the money and if you did the first option then there wouldn't be any lemonade however if you picked the second option then you buying someone a Birthday gift then that would be the Lemonade.
For the second example there are two lemons my Grandfather was the lemon and so was the Money and the lemonade was those gifts which I bought.
This is a good Precept (Well Done Yasmine) so follow it.
It's like when you get something make it bigger. that is alway. to say it for examplei I own a candy factory I try to improve the candy all the time but add recipes. how do you make lemon juice you need a mixer and you need water you don't just take lemon and squeeze the lemon that would take hours. mr ian its like you because you like to improve the way that we be open minded like learn about fixed and growth mindsets. now when I came to grade 4 the dinner table stuff has made me talk more and think more. now that I think of it every one who is open minded will try to improve their skills/what they have. So that is a big message from the precept.
The message is you try to make the best out of what you get.
I had to reply in georgies because the other thing did not pop up
when life gives you lemons I think this means that when you get something if its good or bad you try to use it in some way
Although this is my precept I thought I would like to give you my honest opinion. I think this means if you get something unusefull and not that nice you can turn it into something awesome!
in life whatever you have you work with it
make the most of what you have.
In this section of the blog we will look at different precepts. Everyone in the class will get the chance to choose a precept of their own.
